KNUST Faculty of Allied Health Sciences (FAHS) Extends Support to Needy Students

The Faculty of Allied Health Sciences (FAHS) at the College of Health Sciences (CHS), Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), has extended a helping hand to nine (9) needy students within the faculty with the donation of food items. The presentation, held on 13th August 2025, marks an important step towards the University’s upcoming Food Bank Project aimed at supporting students in need.

The initiative was sparked by Mrs. Joana Joseline Hackman, College Counsellor for the College of Health Sciences, who identified the pressing needs of some students and presented a request to the University and Faculty for support. Through the collective generosity of FAHS management, staff, and other stakeholders, a substantial amount of money and food items were raised to assist the selected students.
